Chiffon Sarees

Since chiffon is a very delicate and lightweight fabric, gentle dry cleaning is highly recommended. If washing at home, hand wash gently in cold water using a mild liquid detergent. Do not wring, squeeze or twist the fabric, as it can easily lose its shape or stretch.

Use a low heat setting (preferably the 'Synthetic' or 'Delicate' option) on your iron. Always place a thin cotton pressing cloth over the chiffon saree before ironing. Never use steam, as moisture can distort the delicate weave of the chiffon.

Chiffon sarees can be hung on soft, padded hangers in your wardrobe. However, ensure they do not hang next to heavily embroidered sarees with stones, beads, or metal work, as chiffon is prone to snagging and tearing easily.
